HM asked:
Theres a 20 foot long workbench made of sturdy treated wood in my basement. It was built by a moron, has no practical use,and its attached to the cement floor and I think the concrete wall.

I got a wrecking bar,a hatchet, and a hobby saw. How the hell do I get rid of this thing? I can barely put a dent in the wood.
You have to sit on a bar stool just to be able to reach the surface. The surface is made of soft wood but reinforced by 6 inchs of hardwood. It takes up a 6th of the basement, maybe a 5th. If thats not a piece of crap workbench I don’t know what is
How do I use a curling iron without a clamp?
carriespnc asked:
It is a ceramic curling iron, but there is no clamp. I know I have to use my other hand to wrap my hair around the rod, but I’m not sure of the technique. Also it has two other barrel size attachments, how do I get the attachment I have off? Do I just need to squeeze the buttons on either side with more pressure? What’s the trick? It is a Padova 3p.

If I want to clamp my piece of wood before I cut it, what do I clamp it onto?
me-wa asked:
I am going to buy a saw and make my kids a playhouse (wish me luck!). I am thinking a cirular saw… but than I guess I will need a sander or they can get slivers on the edges?… Anyway, do I need some sort of table to clamp it too? All I have a couple of those ‘wooden horses’ that I used to put saddles on back in the day… Any tips for me?
